Current Vacancies
Museum of North Craven Life:
We are currently hiring for an external evaluator for our Dynamic Collections and Unlocking Collections projects.
As an independent external consultant, you will work with the project team (Collections Manager, Documentation Officer, Community Curator, Heritage Development Officer and volunteers) to undertake evaluation of this 3-year community engagement project, which is already under way and due for completion in December 2026, assessing our progress, participants’ motivations, expectations and goals, and the impact of training.

Coffee House Assistant Manager
We offer an opportunity to join our award winning, friendly team as an assistant manager. The role is full time (37.5 hours a week) and includes weekend work. Duties include supervising day-to-day tasks, administrative work, kitchen work and front of house. Front of House (3 days over 7)
We offer an opportunity to join our friendly team as a new front of house staff member on a permanent contract for 20 hours per week. Proceeds from our licensed Coffee House support the charity that runs the Museum of North Craven Life in our superb Grade I listed building.
This position is available immediately for a person over 18; experience in a similar role in hospitality is preferred, but not essential as training will be given.
Our opening hours are normally 10am to 4pm, seven days a week.
The successful candidate will work 3 days out of 7 to include at least one weekend day, with one weekend free in 4.
