Description
Bring the family to The Folly this Easter for a children’s tour.
Our experienced tour guides will make the tour interactive. Children will have an opportunity to dress up and wear historic costume, and hear about the life of the family and staff living in the building during the 17th century. Children will be able to handle some common items, and see the most interesting features of the old building, and hear what some of the rooms were used for.
The tours are suitable for SEN children, they feature a range of ways to engage with The Folly, including smelling herbs and handling some historical replicas. All activities are optional.
Children will take home a small activity pack after the event.
The tours are designed for children aged 8 years old, but are suitable for 5 to 10 year olds.
Children must be accompanied at all times. Please book tickets for everyone who will be in attendance (adults and children).
