The Folly Coffee House is situated in the cosy kitchen of our 17th century building. We’re proud to be rated the #1 café in Settle on Tripadvisor.
Our varied menu uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Pop in for a coffee, a cup of tea and a piece of cake, or something more substantial. For lunch, try a generously filled sandwich or some hearty homemade soup. Why not follow it up with a homemade cake, scone or scallywag?

We have children’s options on the menu and can provide high chairs, toys and games to amuse little ones.
We are a dog friendly café. A water bowl and treats are always on standby.
To book a table, please call 01729 825185. We require 24 hours notice for speciality afternoon tea bookings. Other bookings can be made at any time.
It is no longer a legal requirement to wear masks in the café, but customers are welcome do so.
Hand sanitiser is provided on each table for customers’ use.
The Coffee House is open Monday-Saturday 10:00am – 4:00pm.
Entry to the Coffee House via is four uneven steps with handrail.
To access The Folly in a wheelchair, go to the right past the Museum door. Follow the path between the building and driveway to enter the building by a rear door for both Museum and Coffee House. Wheelchair users may access the first floor of the building via our driveway.
Toilets, including disabled toilets and baby change, are located on the ground floor of The Folly.
We serve vegan, vegetarian and gluten free products in our Coffee House. We can cater for other requirements with 24 hours advance notice. An allergens folder listing all ingredients in every menu item is available on request. Please call 01729 825185 to discuss any dietary requirements with us.
We are a breastfeeding friendly venue. Formula and baby food can be heated up at no charge by our Coffee House team. We have children’s meals on our menu and can provide a child’s portion of other meals if required.
Dogs are welcome on the ground floor of the Museum and in the Coffee House only. Guide dogs are welcome throughout the building.
