Description
Dance like a lapwing, sing like a curlew…
Join us on Earth Day for Ground Nest Fest, a festival all about protecting and celebrating ground-nesting birds in North Craven.
Book now for free workshops in dance, song, and poetry, or drop in to take part in arts and crafts all day at the museum.
We will be screening a short film created by local primary school pupils about these iconic birds, and hosting an exhibition of posters and leaflets they have created to campaign for birds’ protection.
Ground Nest Fest is held in partnership with Wild Ingleborough and Yorkshire Peat Partnership.
The festival is part of The Wild Escape which is made possible by lead support from Arts Council England’s National Lottery Project Grants, with additional support from Art Fund.
