Translating the Body: Life Drawing Sessions For Women
When
Mon, 11 November 2024 - Mon, 25 November 2024. 10:30am - 3:30pm
Description
Join life model and poet Sue Vickerman for an untutored life drawing session surrounded by her curated exhibition “Translating the Body”.
In breaks, Sue will use trigger questions to chat about ageing as a woman.
In the afternoon session you may join Sue on the podium unclothed for as short or long a pose as you wish. Boost your body confidence in a friendly supportive context and give fellow participants the rare chance to draw a group. Bring a robe in case you decide to have a go!
Seven A1 boards & easels will be provided, plus smaller boards. Please bring your own materials, and your lunch – or pop out for it.
Please note that the life model will be nude, and in the afternoon one or more participants may join the model, also nude.
