Canine Code

Dogs are welcomed throughout the ground floor of The Folly, which includes our Coffee House, Main Hall and Gift Shop. However, only service dogs are permitted entry into the Museum of North Craven Life.

We want you and your dog to have a stress-free visit along with everyone visiting us today. You can help by following our Canine Code.

Take The Lead

Keep your dog close to you and on a short lead. The Coffee House especially can get very busy with limited space.

Be On The Ball

While lots of us love dogs, some people don’t. Please ensure your dog doesn’t run up to or jump up at other people. Your dog is your responsibility at all times.

Paws For Thought

Look for the tables where you can sit with your dog with more space, such as in our Snug or Parlour. Help us maintain hygiene standards by keeping your dog away from food service counters and always keep paws on the floor.
