Young Producers

We want the voices and opinions of young people to be at the heart of our work at The Museum of North Craven Life. Our Young Producer’s program will offer a group of 16  – 25 year olds the chance to plan and produce their own creative heritage projects, with the support of museum staff. Together with the museum team, the Young Producers will co-create a project inspired by our collections and buildings.

What will the Young Producers do?

Young Producers will meet once a month at The Folly to plan events, take part in creative activities, and explore The Folly’s collections and buildings. Young Producers will run from September 2025 to June 2026. The Young Producers will design and create an event, artwork or resource of their choosing, with the support of the museum staff.

Why take part in Young Producers?

Young Producers will give you the opportunity to meet other young people and make friends. Young Producers meetings will be fun and creative spaces to share and develop your ideas. This is a great opportunity to discover new skills and learn more about careers in the arts and heritage sector.

Who can take part in Young Producers?

Anyone aged 16 – 25 who lives in North Craven can take part in Young Producers. We wish to recruit a group of 10 young people for the 2025 / 2026 programme.

Why take part in Young Producers?

Every Young Producers meeting will be an opportunity for you to explore the heritage of North Craven, share creative ideas and develop your project in a fun and supportive environment. Young Producers will give you the opportunity to get to know other Young People Living in North Craven and help us shape our museum into the future.
